The waterfall is also known as Pi To Lo Su or Pre To Lo Su. It is located at Thai-Myanmar border, it's discovered last few year ago.
You can not visit the waterfall by yourself but with the local travel company. The waterfall has water only in rainy season. The trail is muddy and slippery.
From Um Phang town to Ban Kui Le to, it is about 70 km in distance and takes about 2 hours. Recommend to start in the morning in order to reach Ban Kui Le Tho before noon, You can hire a porter here.
From Ban Kui Le Tho, you have to trek through the forest and walk across the streams for about 4 hours. After the climb up the mountain, continue to the camping ground in the late afternoon and rest up here for tomorrow .
In the next morning after breakfast, trek to the waterfall to admire its beauty closely. After that, go back to the camp and take all your burden and take over Mamuang Sammuen mountain for another 4 hours to the viewpoint, pitch a camp and stay here for a night.
From the view point, you can see Pi Tu Gro waterfall plunging down from 500 meter high mountain. It is the highest one of Thailand.
In the next morning admire the sea of mist and Myanmar forest. After breakfast, trek back for 3-4 hours to Ban Kui Le Tho. Then take another 2 hours road journey to Um Pang.

How to go Umphang..
By Car
Take Route 1 from Bangkok to Tak province (410 km; 5-6 hrs). Take a left turn at the Maesod Intersection and follow Route 105 from Tak to Maesod (88 km; 1-2 hrs). Take Route 1050 from Maesod to Umphang (164 km; 3-4 hrs).
Note: Route 1050 follows a hilly path with narrow roads, sharp bends, and 1,219 curves. It is highly recommended that vehicles be in good condition as there are no gas stations or mobile phone signals along this route. Use of low gear is also advised for negotiating steep climbs and sharp bends.
By Bus
It is departed daily from Bangkok to Maesod from the Northern Bus Terminal at Morchit (498km; 7-8 hrs). Bus arrive in Maesod early morning around 5-6 am. From Maesod, pick-up truck services depart daily each hour from the local market to Umphang, starting from 7am and ending at 3 pm.
Note: It is also possible to hire a whole pick-up truck without having to wait for other passengers.
