Travelling to Koh Kood,Trat

Location : The last island located at the end of Trat Sea 80 km. away from Leam Ngob. 

How to get Trat from Bangkok:

By Car :  there are 3 routes for selecting
-         Bangna-Trat ( Sukumvit Road, Highway No.3) will pass Chonburi – Rayong-Chanthaburi-Trat, Distance about 385 km and take about 4:30 hours to reach Trat.
-         Bangna-Chonburi-Klang-Chanthaburi-Trat(Highway No.314), distance about 318 km and take about 4 hours.
-         Motor way which is start kilometer 0 at Srinakarin square and will exist for BanBeuang – Klang –Chantuburi – Trat, taking about 4 hours. 

By Bus : There are 2 bus stations service
          First is at Ekamai bu terminal which is located at Ekamai section of Sukhumvit Road, you can easily to get there by BTS skytrain. It takes about 5 hours from BKK to Trat, 
          Second is The Northern Bus terminal (Morchid) which is located at new Morchid of Kampaeng Petch Road (Near by Jatujak) and also take about 5 hours from BKK to Trat.

How to get Koh Kood from Trat town : 
            To tour in Koh Kood, you are recommended buying a package tour of the resorts which provide all facilities and speed boat service. It takes about 1:30 hours – 2 hours to island, for this case you need to contact a resort for asking about the pick up service or how you get to the pier. 
            In case you do not want to buy the package tour, you have 2 choices that you can go by Ferry or Speed boat but in this case you are recommended you select speed boat because the speed board will drop you at the area that has many home-stay ,resort or motorbike for rent so you can survey around the island at that area. 
            For the Ferry, you can catch a free pick up service at the clock tower in Trat town to and it takes about 45mins - 1 hour to Leam Sok, the Ferry offer only one a daily that depart from Leam Sok at at 12:00pm and it takes about 2 – 2:30 hours to Koh Kood (Nam Leuk pier) 
            For the Speed boat, you need to take a pick up service at Trat town to Dan Kao pier and it takes about 15 - 20mins. The Speed boat offer twice daily, first is 9:00am and second is 1:00pm, it takes about 1:45 – 2 hours to Koh Kood (Klong Jao pier)
